While voice recognition software (and some transcription services) may be suitable to get the gist of the matter, our transcriptions are typed by sworn transcribers, ensuring they are certified to hold up in any court in South Africa.
Our transcribers have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the industry, have a working knowledge of Latin and medical terminology, and are familiar with formats of presentation to all courts.

Celine Brown, the Founder and Director of Penmann Transcriptions, comes from a long line of business entrepreneurs and has mastered the art of professional service excellence.

Her earlier career as a conference organiser in one of the largest conference centres in South Africa taught her that hard work, diligence and the ability to build strong, informative client relationships make projects successful.

As the regional manager for a Gauteng-based transcription services company, Celine successfully managed over 300 typists and an office of 15 staff members, working closely with the Department of Justice to gain a comprehensive understanding of the workings of the South African courts.

Her experience and solid work ethic give her an advantage over her competitors.
